Is Habbah secure?

We don’t have direct access to your user or nonprofit financial institutions. We use Plaid and Stripe to connect to financial institutions. Both platforms employ advanced security and encryption protocols to protect user data.

How does Habbah make money?

At Habbah we strive to give more to our non profits. We don’t charge monthly fees and only deduct a flat 3% per donation inclusive of merchant processing fees (we use ACH payments with a low 0.8% transaction cost).

‍It just makes more cents!

Other donation apps charge nonprofits $15-$50 a month and a 1-9% donation fee plus 2.9% + $0.30 merchant processing fee. That's a lot of fees!

Can my organization get reports?

Yes! Once you onboard and connect with Habbah's organization dashboard hosted by Stripe, you can get reports and insights on donations received from the Habbah platform.

How long does it take to get on the Habbah platform?

Joining Habbah as nonprofit is quick and easy.

1. Fill out our organization interest form.
2. We send you an onboarding link to add your nonprofit's details.
3. After verifying your nonprofit we will enable it for donors

The whole process can take 1-3 days.

How does the nonprofit receive donations?

During the onboarding process a nonprofit will create a Stripe account which we will use to automatically disburse donations from users. After charges have cleared from a user, usually 7 days, the funds will be made available for transfer out of Stripe into the nonprofits bank account.
